Palazzo guardati is in a fantastic spot, just off the main square. Surrounded by loads of food and drink options! The rooftop pool is a real treat too. The staff is super friendly, and our room was super clean. Breakfast was also good!

Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Sorrento. Rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely gleaming hallways. Fabulous views from the roof terrace. Reception staff were helpful and friendly, especially Marco from reception who was great with an internet problem that I had. I wouldn't hesitate about staying here again.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Rooms were a little dark due to very dark curtains and bedding. These are only minor issues, overall the hotel was great.

The location of the hotel was excellent being close to the main square and restaurants/bars, however down a side street so less busy. No views only a small step out balcony to overlook the cobbled laneway. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and a reasonable size. The hotel reception and room decor were also very nice. Staff were friendly and willing to help at all times and the breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection.
We were allocated a room on the 1st floor despite confirmation being for a 2nd floor room. A restaurant was located directly underneath our room and we could clearly hear the preparation of meals ie continual banging of scallopine etc, and washing of dishes along with music playing and staff talking loudly in the kitchen areas. This was until 11pm when we complained to reception on both nights. The noise reduced soon after our complaint. On our first night we tried asking for another room on higher floor but were advised the hotel was fully booked for the 2nd night. This was the only problem with this hotel as it persisted on both nights. Would recomend this hotel but only if staying on 2nd floor or higher.

The location couldn't be more perfect-right in the heart of Sorrento. We loved taking the Circumvesuviana train to explore nearby towns like Pompeii and Positano.
My kids wished for a better breakfast setup to accommodate families. Mornings felt a bit rushed trying to grab a table with the small breakfast hall.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect - just a few yards off the main square. We booked a superior room which was well decorated and extremely clean. Maid service daily and whole hotel maintained impeccably. Lovely roof top terrace with small pool which we used a few days during our week long stay. Location perfect for visiting Pompeii, Capri, Amalfi coast etc with buses, boats and trains in easy reach. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The only negative is the poor breakfast. The breakfast room is small and dingy with no natural light. The food choice is poor. It is a shame that the guest reviews - which all say the same thing pretty much - are not taken notice of because a few changes to breakfast (taken on one of the terraces in good weather and fresher and wider food choice) would lift this hotel from 8/10 to 10/10.

I chose this hotel based on the good reviews on Booked.net and the excellent location in Sorrento. I had initially booked a second floor room via Booked.net but the 1st floor room we had was fine and heard no noise from the street. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful! The roof terrace/bar/pool was lovely and had good views. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to others.
The only thing I would have expected from a 4 star hotel is tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel's charming decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the rooftop solarium offered fine views of Sorrento and the sea, making it accessible and enjoyable for senior guests like me.
More comfortable seating in common areas would help.

The hotel had a great location, just minutes from bars and shops. My classic double room was spacious and clean, with a tv, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with a deep bath and free toiletries. The rooftop area was a highlight, with a small plunge pool, sun loungers, and amazing views of Sorrento and the sea.

The room was very spacious, very nicely appointed and quiet. The bathroom was particularly good.
Staff were somewhat remote - efficient but cold. At no point were we asked if everything was ok even at check out. Waiter at breakfast not friendly until last morning with his tip bowl out. Beds and pillows very hard - I did have neck problems as a result.

We chose Palazzo Guardati based on it's location and could not have been more pleased with both location and service. The staff, including the hotel owner were clearly there to please guests having gone far and beyond to help us with our plans. The hotel is in the heart of Sorrento, yet in an quiet enough ally. We loved our experience so much we decided to stay a couple extra nights. The hotel is charming and clean offering homey comfort. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but enough. We can't wait to return!

The hotel had a great location, nestled close to Tasso Square with easy access to food options and transport. The rooftop pool was a nice respite, but the room had its drawbacks. Noise from the kitchen below was disruptive and the bed wasn’t as comfortable as expected.

The breakfast is lovely, one of the best things. The units are vintage, airy. It is nestled in the heart of the town, so close to Basilica di Sant'antonino.

Staff were excellent, Hotel was very clean and very central.
The booking form suggested a room with an internal view / balcony, we were given room 105, the view / blacony was not internal and overlooked somebodys flat and below were a resturaunt and a bar. Consequently we couldnt really leave the curtains open and we had noise issues from the bar and resturants
